BIG BIG THANKS AND RESPECT!
Okay, well first off apologies for it taking so long to get on here and say this. I'm new to the Vj thing been thinking of doing it for years but only got off my ass after seeing all you guys at the corn ex.
Second, Mountains more of praise and thanks.
Third, who the hell am I? I'm connected to the technique crew who were hosting the Saturday night music thing. I was there running around with a vid-camera (I know it doesn't narrow it down).
Fourth, THANKS I know a lot of people did not enjoy the limmited set up time but, all of you really made it a very special event.
Finally, if anyone who was VJing/rigging wants a Video of the night just get in touch and I'll post a CDcopy. It was produced as a Promo for Technique so it's short and centred on the DJs more but as a momento/show of thanks it's something.
MUCH LOVE AND THANKS

hey there!
it truly was an amazing event, eh?
I was there as a performer (one of the 2 vidiots from North America actually).
How short is the promo clip? How many MB/format? If its small enough maybe I can look into posting it somewhere so peeps can just DL and have a looksie....
and thanks to Technique for working with us and providing the tunes! I know that in the U.K. breaks are starting to get stale, but I WAS IN HEAVEN! We just don't hear so much of that here in the states....

U.K. BREAKS ARE STALE- -NEVER!
(you just need to know where to look, nothing good is ever easily found over here)
Anyway, the clip 7mins but its an enormous 732Mb. My bro who did all the editing squashed it once or twice in premier, but if I bash it around alot-maybe lower res, cenepak it, zip it, then sit on it for a while it might get down to the size where I could post it up on the AudioVisualiser's Server. But like I say if people are happy (I know many don't like to) hand over address I'm happy to post it... ... and not turn up in a week twitching like a mad man and trying to blag a free bed.
Any suggestions on how best to get it up and/or to those who were there gratefully recieved, as the name suggests I'm an upstart in this field so don't really know my arse from my elbow.

Cool, erm... Got exams on all of this week- God dam degree!
But I'll get in touch as soon as there done and I'll check with the Technique boys whether there happy for the raw footage we shot to get used in other material-although I'm sure you probably got all the shots we did.
It was the first film we'd done, and I'd barely held a camera before but I think my bro's editing and final version is pretty good.
But I'll be even more interested to see what can be done with some experience and a full editing suite-still need to buy a midi input here (bit of catching up to do).

Sorry for delay, but I'm not managing to fit the file on to a disk whole. But I've given up and am burning it in a .zip format let us no if this is a problem for mac users out there. Be in the mail soon I promise.
Cheers again,
