Hello,

My lady is off for a summer in Sydney, she wants to know of any good clubs there. She's well into her funky house tunes. Any of you Aussie vjs recommend anything?

Thanks, Lara x

hi lara,

globe on elizabeth st - known for its funky house/hip hop

the chocolate factory - 144 cleveland st, surry hills :
this place is a converted terrace house, owned by two vj's, man and wife. very nice on a thursday and friday night.

frigid : The Hopetoun Hotel in surry hills has a really good day club on sunday from 5pm to midnight. If u want to do some visuals while in sydney that'd be the place to do it.

Ice box - 2 kellet street in kings cross, house, hard house, trance, my thursday night favourite.

home - on cockle bay, darling harbour. really commercial megaclub. it can be fun but expensive.

hope this helps :)

just launching their night in sydney after a couple of years success in london!

If your girlfriend does go, get her to say Hello to Jezza (warm up dj) as he's my best mate, and haven't seen him in a looong time.......

my buddies ( Phill Smart and Ray Good ) just bought a club there call "tweekin" but i think they may have changed the name . there's a big fat club there called "HOME" it kinda cool . if she wants to get the scoop she should head to a record shop on Oxford st call "central staition" , they'll know what's up . any night with John Hardy playing at it is a hot tip as well .
