Hi,
This summer in Ghent (Belgium) there is a big city festival in the center of town. The organisers did ask me to program audiovisual art. I have a couple of big outdoor video screens and a soundsystem. The idea is to show short intresting audiovisual projects projects during the changeovers of the bands. The stage will be closed with a curtain and on the other side of the square there will be the videoscreens. The festival is outdoor in the middle of the city. The bands are mostly local, pop, rock , electronics, ?. It is a free festival.
The festival is from 19 t.e.m. 28 july 2003 ( i'm afraid all the sites are in flemish...) People who are interested to contribute for this festival please contact me on kris@fisheye.be .You can send demofiles (mimimum MPEG1) to Fisheye/Twijndersstraat 8/9000 Gent/ Belgium or put your stuff on a ftp server.
In the video section on my site (www.fisheye.be) there is a file called : "short piece of the NMBS art project" and "a contemporary view on city planning" just to give you an idea of styles and ideas.
