guerilla vid / street art night - leeds

thinking of putting on a video night with a twist in leeds towards the end of the month early next month.

plan: to wire up a projector into car/van and project some shorts onto various sites in leeds. short running event max stay in one place 30min.

anyone up for contributing work or helping out?

talk to baron - he's done this before, around leeds, from a moving vehicle - if he's gotten around to getting it fixed he's even got a generator as well :)

what you got to show? we got a dolphin that's begging to be let onto the streets...

and I have plans to take this to the next step and do a guerilla drive/walk in sometime in summer with fm transmission of audio

hey tim,

yeah well have started mailing a few people to see who's up for it, getting some good responses. got peeps interested in helping with work, promo (flyers) etc...

possible dates in mind are: May 2nd, 9th or 10th. I have started a thread to see what the shizz with hiring equipment needed is.

Plan being to show a few shorts/vj sets in various venues, i.e. pull up and park for 30mins show some work, drive off park up somewhere else, kind of visual treasure hunt lasting a few hours in total - 8pm - 11pm or something.

I'm also hoping to pass this event off as part of some course work as well as the possibility of keeping it a regular event, DIY Guerrilla style!

this was us taking a pride of lions around leeds, and covering the civiv hall in projections (not that the latter bit is really guerilla....)
