You could wait until Winged Migration comes out on DVD - an hour and a half of some of the best bird footage you'll ever see...

Well, oh "visual master" - what sort of birds are you looking for? How long a clip? Cos from what I remember, there are birds all over the place, heres a tip - get on a bus into the countryside, set up your camcorder on a tripod, sit down and quietly eat a sandwich and hey presto, birds will appear. I'm sure as a "visual master" you don't need me to tell you what to do next? Sorry if this sounds a little acidic, but coming onto a VJ forum with the handlwe "visual master" and asking where you can get a clip of birds.........jeeez.

Peacocks (or Peafowl to be more accurate) are both endemic and a piece of piss to shoot. Just hunt around for the "Gardens open to the public" places - you can almost guarantee that you'll find them there. Happily they're not fussy on the sandwich front - just the crusts will do. Seriously though - they are all over the world and really easy to find, I know Canada is a big place, but my first stop would be "Yellow Pages" under Public Gardens.

I used to live in northern California for a coulple years and we have all kinds of wierd birds such as peacocks, and hawks, not to mention the rair pigeon. Give me some time to locate some digital movies and pictures in my files. And I'll post'em for you.

Indeed it's the same guy.
I haven't seen Microcosmos either, but I remeber a preview on television last year about the movie (Le peuple Migrateur) and there was mentioned the director as the same from Microcosmos, but couldn't think on Microcosmos and now you say the name Microcosmos I remember the name from there.
Help I remember all that crazy television stuff, when I've seen things once, I can tell you all about it just after hearing one word to let me think about it,...
