Hi all!
It is no secret that the VJ and AV artists are not as big in the states as they are in Europe. I will not bore you all with my thoughts as to why, instead I had an idea to see about maybe having a local VJ night. I own a nightclub in Philadelphia and I am a VJ as well. I have some cool video elements in my space including 6 projectors. Are there actually enough VJs/DVJs and AV artists around to make a night like this even make sense? I would love for the answer to be yes, but we will see....
So what I am proposing, is a Dedicated AV artists night at my spot(it can hold about 200 people) in Philly. I would provide a few stations that guests can set up on to have your work displayed on a projector. We can get together share ideas, talk about the industry etc. Oh, and I guess I could throw a couple drink specials out there too! :D
Let me know what everyone thinks? Please feel free to offer any advice or input as well. Thank you all and happy VJing!!
