I am brand new to Vjing and am looking to get into it. My idea involves using one of the many software problems along with a passive stereoscopic 3d display where audience members would wear 3d glasses and be able to see in 3d.

My idea would be to have mostly 2d but throw it into 3d at special times.

I have been working with 3dmaxmedia which has this capability but am looking for more from a software program. One that can throw different pre made video clips together and do effects , etc.

Anybody who has any experience or knows anybody who does this, help would be apprecitaed.

Also,?@any suggestions on the best software out their on the market right now would be appreciated. Thanks everyone for your help.

In Pilgrim one can create true interactive 3d worlds! It features an advanced custom lighting model (shadows and advanced shading) and even a physics system.

You can already download a demo at www.loosegoose.nl. In a couple of weeks, they will release a new demo however that features an even better 3d editor (similar to 3ds max) and realtime after effects.
