Im taking a trip to Newcastle next weekend sat 26th and sunday27th, anything worth checking out? (you know what i mean!)

I assume you mean Newcastle upon Tyne? If so then things up have improved slightly (infact you just missed Gotan Project!). Bar's wise, Clear Bar is 5 minutes from the train station next to Revolution with Raj Pannu from Traveller playing beats, breaks, latin all leftfield style. Not sure about clubs (been away for a week) but will be lots of flyers around.... Also Head of Steam, Salsa Club, Trent House, World HQ, Stereo, Baltic, Intermezzo - depends whats your bag!?
