Excellent as usual- always a pleasure to see updates of your work.
the brutalist architecture+trees combination works a treat, and you can never go wrong with graphic compositions using red, black and white on mesh screens imho.
The 8 projector setup is a beauty- thanks for providing the plan- this is the kind of info this forum is great for!
I have 1 question though (regarding the profile plan):
with such a potent video setup (8 proj) through mesh, do you not find that it can be better to make sure that you don't blind your audience (especially with solid white shapes)? so, instead of pointing your projectors downwards, could you not have found a way to make the beams skim over the audience's heads? this might mean dropping the height of the projectors which is a pain in the ass but worth it in my experience.
anyway, not that i want to criticise- this is still the best club setup that i can think of (working along similar lines myself)
all the best with future projects.
(oh- it would be great if you could provide a downloadable quicktime link to this reel like for the other ones on your site)

This kind of setup works beutifully with motion graffix type content(very nice setup indeed), but I wonder how well it would look with video(VJ mixed content/camera/animation footage)? seems like it would get messy very quick.
I've also had a bit of a play with projectors facing each other, projecting on FP/RP fabrics, and tho interesting mixes at times, without the ability to key/composite the source video being projected, does have a soup like effect.
Seems to me that using a projector switcher for a multi-projector rig like this would be a fantastic way of giving the video show a LD kind of appearance...
anyhow, top notch anyhow legoman:up:

excellent! the videos are great, as well as the editing switching between the videos in the piece and the set up. it really gives an idea of what it's like to be at the spot and see the set up design in action.
is this currently set up at a particular club or gallery?

We have been messing with special projection surfaces a lot too. Had a big setup in a huge empty mess hall. We did use some unusual screens as long with real ones. So the graphics and abstracts worked nice and complimentary with live cameras and clips.
When I get home I may find a video to post.
