what is that...35 VJs on the schedule? and that doesn't even include the daytime fun stuff!! I'm going to guess that a person could see about fifty DIFFERENT video artists there by the time we are done...

the site looks great, nicely done. im looking forward to seeing the full lineup.,. living here in the midwest, it seems the only time i am able to see other vjs at their craft is when i leave the country or the region. it will be great to be able to get a taste of what heads around the midwest have been up to.

errr....I believe that is the "full lineup"
The rest will be a more free-form, open-jam time during the day on Saturday....yes, w/ DJs and all the fixins...don't forget this venue is two seperate galleries, one side will hold the conference/talks/installs, the other side will be for anyone/everyone to get a chance to jam with other VJs.....I will be assisting in the flow of this part, so you'll all have to track me down on site and we will sort it when we get there...
(I'm a pretty laid-back guy, so it will be run low-stress style. we are trying to have fun here!)

All of you VJs coming-but-not-performing should consider at least bringing a tape/vcd/dvd or two along to throw into the mix and let everyone else see what you've been up to! In my experience, VJs love mixing their shit with other peoples stuff, so bring a tape w/ you! If you don't get on a rig, you could at least see your material screened at AVIT....

Seconded. i'm on the 'additional performers' roster, and my current performance patch works super, super well while distilling other people's content. i actually LOVE working as a filter!

ditto, though I won't have any of that vhs stuff in my rig, so if you bring me something on dvd/vcd/svcd/dvd-r I'd love to mix it in! =]
