hi again,

just wondering if you guys could throw around a couple of cheap projectors that are half decent, considering the money I have to throw around. (about $US500=1000). i'll probably buy something second hand off ebay.

thanks!

since your talking about throwing stuff about, id recommend a phillips projector because they seem to be the toughest most sturdy make of beamer about, they are little more expensive but in my opinion theyre worth the extra money for the fact theyll survive a drop which would kill a cheaper beamer.
plus if yr getting a second hand one, phillips offer line doubling a lot lower in their range than other makes, not neccesary , but nice

when you go to buy a secound hand projector "beamer" , check for the bulb life , and find out about its replacement cost . plus you should find out if they still make the unit your looking for , if not the parts can cost you more than the unit it self if it breaks or you drop it ( which i've done ) . try finding an AV hire company , they may have old units for sale that are still in good shape for a good deal .
