I am the resident VJ at Excalibur/Vision in Chicago. I'm looking to find other gigs with some VJ's with passion. Skill and gear are a plus but passion is what really counts.

Well, you have friends in the south that are up for collaborations and such. We have a monthly residency at a club in Dallas called Afterlife. You can pm me and we can talk more.

Sorry for the late responce. I am basically looking to start a new VJ group and find some new gigs. I'm down for some art installs (im a technology fiend) as well. I guess I should have mentioned that living in the Chicago area is a must. There is no budget to expand at Vision so most of the gigs would have to be at other venues :)

I wonder, does your club ever Fly DJ's over???

My guess is that they would... same could be done for VJs eventually :)

my focus is a bit different, but I'm always into meeting cool peeps...since you are here at VJF I'm assuming you are cool.
I'm an hour North of Milwaukee. I don't get down to Chi as often as I'd like....

occasionally a few of us in the MKE area get to work together on events..

Unless the VJ and DJ are a package deal, they wont pay for another vj. I wouldve done visuals for the last Tiesto concert if the sound, lighting, and video wasnt a package deal. I've VJ'ed for Armin Van Buurenn (sp?) twice but it still isnt the same.

I work alot of raves in Wisconsin and Illinois. The last one that was by you was in the town of Belgium. I've never worked so hard, been so stressed out, been fucked over so many times and never had so much fun at the same time. Unfortunately we will not be using that venue again. The town of Belgium hates us so much that they passed some ordinances preventing us from throwing parties. Our next major event is the Midwest Electronic Music Festival.
