Hi,

First post on your great website.

I've got a couple of avi's, just vjloops.

How can I increase the frame rate and the quality
in full screen mode or is this just a limitation of the
software? Maybe its my computer, not sure.

Thanks!

hey there,

welcome..

depends very much on how you have encoded the avis.... what resolution, frame rate and codec...

a good start is probably indeo 5 keyframe every frame high quality at 320 x 240 x 25 fps... most modern computers should be able to layer 2 of these clips using resolume without slowing down...

of course depends v.much on your computer..

i just spent the morning playing around with different fullscreen configurations for resolume and made a couple of discoveries.
depending on how the fullscreen out is configured, you may get different results.

check this page on resolumes site (http://www.resolume.com/support/index.php) for the preffered setup and fullscreen setting.

heres my question for other resolume users: using a Matrox card and DVD Max how do you get 640x480 video to actually display at 640x480? to the best of my knowledge it only plays at 320x240 becaue thats what the preview is set to. the only way i found to get it to display at 640x480 is to undock the preview and set that to 640x480. once you do this though it covers half of the GUI. i can get away without using the DVD Max feature but its nice to have that preview window running sometimes.
