10-midnight it said on the flyer.
I arrived on waterloo bridge at 10:25 to find a projected powerpoint slide that said myspace.com/addictivetv
after 5 minutes that went out.
I waited.
after another few minutes of nothing, I started the car and went home.

Fool, u missed out on such a class night! the whole place was packed people were dancing everywhere, inaddition to being such a beautiful warm night, addictive's show was superbe as usual.
The addictive boyz are doing so much for the a/v world. a free outdoor gig on a saturday in south bank on the nicest day of the summer and you couldn't sit down, chill and have a beer for 10 minutes before the show started... errm ok, and your a vj!!! (it did all kicked off around 10:30 so bad luck)

hmm
they said 10pm start so I assumed it was cancelled.
especially as it went from holding slide to black.
I had planned to watch it from the bridge so had no idea what was going on. If I was alone I may have stayed on, but my date was far from willing to take a chance they might begin eventually.
i was disappointed.
sorry, but I had to vote with my feet

I had a spot at the upper terrace but when they started for real, the PA was way too loud and so did back down to the Waterloo Bridge.
The Sex Pistols number did seem to get the crowd pretty wild :)
On the bridge, passers-by did stop to look for the band and some left looking a bit confused as no band around...

lol
lol ....ok, a couple of answers....
Hi Gary - cheers for coming down though dude. Shame you missed it. We had a great time - there were about 3000 people there. I found out afterwards that they stopped letting people up to the terraces as they were maxed out and on the bit down by the Thames I was told it was like a rave!
Of course the screen went to black! We were about to start! lol We were on the "balcony stage" with all the kit, near the giant 20,000 lumen projector. Nights that start at 10pm don't have the act starting at 10pm sharp. Last Saturday, the music started at 10pm and we went on at 10.30pm. AND IT WAS FREE!
Should point out though, it wasn't just our mailing list dude - the night was listed as one of the Top 5 events of the weekend by The Evening Standard (London's main paper) and the lead story in the clubbing section in Time Out (London's main What's On guide).
Cheers again to all those who came down!!
