From their website:
whats new in 1.1?
- homemade transitions
- DVDMax support for Matrox videocards
- dynamic flash text
- improved midi features
- more (configurable) shortcuts
- improved speed with dual monitor setup
- layer masking
- more effects (some mouse controlled)
- improved live input [WDM driver support I think - elbows]
- general performance improvements
Ive not had a chance to try it yet. Its still considered a beta I believe, but you can have both versions on your system at once.

been playing with it for the last 24 hours and i realy like some of the stuf they've done, flash text is good and the fact that you can use gray scale images as masks is cool, I dont use midi at the moment so i have not noticed anything there thats new.
like Exhale said at vj central its not version 2.0 so no big serprises yet but the lack of sleep is makeing it hard to sus it all out and i'm sure that when i get deaper in to it there will be, version 1.0 is still comeing up with new things and mix's.
still waiting for the ability to record my output but you carn't have it all
though i'm not to sure about there claim of atracting the opposite sex, ah well........

Today I tested my digicam with the new live input of Resolume 1.1 beta and it works great! And I don't know if it's because of the new WDM drivers (no more need to use the VFM bridge) but it didn't seem too slow, contrary to what elbows said earlier... I added 2 special effects and another layer and the FPS was still nice :) (I have a 1Ghz laptop though)
And all those new features rock!! The new transitions and masks increase a lot the number of possibility to mix layers, the fact we can choose a background color makes it possible to do really neat colorful stuff (especially when using the "Di" layer option) and the Shake, Blow & Split Center effects are simply awesome! Not to mention the dynamic Flash animations.
Go Resolume! :D :D :p
