The contest

We were thinking of trying to run a contest like Dave did with the Coors Light thing where we have peeps do stuff with the sponsors logos. The idea is to collect as much neato stuff as possible, compile it, and put it looping on its own seperate projector or possibly a TV (we won't mix sponsor stuff into peeps mixes)
The problem is we don't exactly have a prize and I don't think anyone really wants to judge and decide the "winner".
I'd like to ask you all to start thinking of ideas of how to go about generating sponsor content? Would a contest be OK? If we just ask for peeps to generate stuff without reward will anyone do it?

OK I will sort out the logos, hopefully today, and get links or whatever. I will also set up an FTP spot for UL.
I'll look around and see if I can't suss-out a token "prize" of some sort...
The goal is to compile the sponser clips and string them together onto a DVD as one track to loop, so keep that in mind when rendering the final output. (try to go better than DVD if possible, but don't let it dicourage you if you can't). Space/bandwidth for my FTP shouldn't be an issue.

If you're just *dying* to get started, you could go hunting for logos right now! Sponsors as of now are Edirol, Moonshine and M-Audio.

but why not consider doing slides?

slides? We're not interested in stills for the sponser content, we want video..
