How well does spandex work for rear projection?
Actually, I plan to strectch it across the middle of a room, so its visible from bothe sides, but you get my drift.

its okay for back projection, not great but ok,
but one thing it isnt good with is uv, any stray uv light and it glows like a bastard, killing all contrast in yr projections

Yep, I just borrowed a friends nice round spandex screen to find out it was COMPLETELY UV crazy. Ended up glowing blue the entire night... which was frustrating.
So, check out the UV qualities before you buy it, the effect is limiting, not cool.

Can you ellaborate a bit more on this?? Planning to do a very large projection -- about 15X25 ish with a 1700 lumen projector. Are you saying I need total darkness... How far can I push this?
