I'm pretty new to VJ-ing, but one thing that interests me a LOT is collaborationg with dancers, circus and theatre troups and doing things for the stage. Thinking about interactive video stage designs makes me feel warm inside.

What I don't know is how to aproach this. You who are doing it, did you start VJ-ing in clubs and then moved to the theatre or did you start doing things in the theatre or somewhere else? Are there any special things that are important to know when doing these types of collaborations? What are your backgrounds?

I have studied animation for two years and learned VJ-ing from some workshops and practising at home. Only done very few and small public shows. What is your advice on how to get into the realms of the stage?
