Dont know if anyone can help me out, I need the catalyst control centre so that I can get display spanning to work, it was included on either the first or second release of bootcamp and then missed off the others, I cant find my b/u's and need it pretty quick, I cant get it from ati, as it wont install as the it cant find any ati hardware...
Or any other ideas on display spanning!
I've just had to reinstall after a harddrive went down, now sleep doesnt work either!
Cheers

They dont do span mode though do they?
Never have when I've tried them before, ATI and spanning has to have ccc I believe, although if someone can prove me wrong I'd be very happy!
I have to have horizontal span, dual view wont do!

Its the only reason I didn't choose mac. But some one told me http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/ might do the job, as with http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx. Not sure which one would work with the hardware as essentially they're both emulators (from what I understand). Plus you'll have a performance drop running both platforms simultaneously so I hope you've got a sturdy beast.

No got its got to be bootcamp, need the hardware acceleration!
Has noone got backups of previous betas either?
If you've bootcamp installed from earlier betas the installers should be in your macintosh drivers folders.
cheers

span mode?
why?
ah vvvv
they should fix that - yet another reason why not providing a simple way to build real interfaces is foolish.
oh well can't you run the interface in a separate GDI window on the internal screen and the output on the external monitor? i guess not...
omegadrivers provide all the driver controls (and more) that are available in the regular ATI drivers - you probably can do span mode if the hardware supports it.

Yup vvvv, I as understand it its a dx limitation that you cant accelerate video playback on more than one monitor, though I may be wrong!
Last time I tried omega drivers they didnt allow span mode, the same as the generic ati drivers, ccc is the app that does the magic, which you cant use with omega, but isnt possible without it!
