Hi there
I am currently looking to replace our very old projectors in one of the venues where I work. The problem is that the projectors must be situated 10m away from the screens.
The other issue I have is that the screens are 2mx10m therefore restricting the height of the image.
I have looked at many video/data business projectors but as they are predominately designed for a much shorter projector distance, the image would be far too big for the screens at 10m.
Ideally the projectors should be wide screen to make use of as much of the screens (width) as possible.
Is it worth investing in commercial projectors for ease of bulb replacement and cleaning or go for business projectors and write them off after 4-5 years?
We don't have a very big budget (surprise, surprise!) as it is for a Universiy, so around the 3.5k per projector and we need 4 of them.
Also, as it is for a nightclub, we don't need them to be too bright.
If anyone could point me in the right direction for this type of equipment, it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
