twin view, pinnacle deluxe - possible???

I`m very fresh Vj :)
Can anyone tell me:

Do I need some programs to play mix my material live? I`v got Pinnacle Studio Deluxe, so there is no problem with recording it. But you know, that`s not the same as live performing.
Do you know anything else then Studio 8, that will go with that card? Or should I buy new card with twin view option?

the studio delux is a capture card - not an output card for vjing - it is very good for capturing video to make into loops to play in some vj software

go to http://www.audiovisualizers.com/toolshak/vjprgpix/softmain.htm
and download some demos (i recomend resolume as a good place to start)
when you've decided which software you like the look of you can think about how to get its output onto a screen.
