Greetings to all fellow VJs!

I'm looking for a bit of software that will display a webcam input,
full screen. Seems straightforward enough, but I haven't found anything that does this (... apart from resolume, which is rather
a complicated solution to a simple problem.)

If it can do any effects (particularly colour inversion), that's even better.

jilt's flow Motion does it, and if you want better resolution than a webcam, try VidVox prophet, with the ability to sample mini DV straight from firewire, and play it live with midi controlable fx's...

the videoLab plugin for vJo R3.2 will let you use any video input, such as a webcam, as an input node for any effect. You can then mix it, add real-time controllable effects, almost anything you can dream of can be done. And it works in fullscreen ;)

resolume doesn't sound so complicated to me...the installer is under a meg...and it recognized my video source without any additional help...

One of their DirectCapture Examples is a preview, which can be sized to fullscreen... the download is hefty, but some of the programs are interesting and useful, and it costs nothing but the time to download:

which exact download is that info??? just browsing the SDK extras and not sure or is in another area???

Personally I have recently repurposed my old latop @ gigs to act as a monitor for my MX1 but I was just using the capture window in my cap softwear... not full screen :( Would be great to be just able to see the input from my composite USB dongle full screen and I guess thats what this direct capture demo app will do???

Only problem with the capture app is that it has the borders associated with Windows apps... I'll see if I can rewrite it a little (as the source code is included).
