I am a newbie vj and have recently acquired 500mb worth of webspace which I would like to use for our website. Any recommended vj websites (apart from this one of course!!) we could look at as a good example . We want to keep it fairly simple.

If anyone can help that would be great as we want to design the site and upload it before this friday.

Go To http://216.87.221.78

It is not finished because we have several political problems in my country and I'm living.

I'm dealing with too much information in that site. I would recomendo you to place:
Pictures of your performances.
A small movie at list.
Your personal resume (it will be growing constantly).
Your location and contact referneces of course.
A bit about your self.
What is Vjing for you.
and what makes you different from other VJ's.

With all that you are set.

Make youir site a bit fancy, most VJ sites are not nice looking. Doit in plain html if you can with some details in flash. That is why mine takes so long, everything is flash based mostly and I do not manage some of the leanguage.

Good luck.

Pd. Do not get a complicated domain name, get a simple one. www.vjmersey.com or something like that.

This is our own site, as we are also web designers i think it may be a good example to see.

Its important to keep your site simple and easy to navigate. Make sure you design it in such a way to make it simple to update as well so you don't cause yourself any headaches.

If you also look at http://www.k10k.net it gives a newsfeed with loads of different sites from designers which are considered top quality. You don't neccesarily need to draw inspiration from existing vj sites.

hope this helps
