Hello,
I was wondering if you could help with this small problem. I am organising a party on friday night involving two data projectors and two kodak slide projectors. I would like to project slides images onto transparent material. Any recommended? I am on quite a low budget
Many thanks

'ello,
You can pick up some material called 'bedding fleece' from your local B&Q or Homebase - very cheap, but u need to stretch it over some kind of frame. Pretty good for semi-transparent slide projection stuff - or u can get Muslin type material from most art/craft shops. Hope this helps.

On a last minute and cheap tip you could use some net curtain material. Voile i believe its called and it only costs about 60p a metre. But just make sure you flame proof it as its quite a delicate material. You can get it in most fabric stalls. I've used it but only in places that are well outta the way of punters and other hazards. Its easy to hang and only needs small weights or strings to pull it taught. It has very good transparency - the image is clearly visible from both sides.

Something you may need to go to slightly greater lengths to acquire would be bubble wrap. The packing material with thousands of tiny air blisters in it. If you can get large sheets of it anywhere, the individual blisters all reflect light in a really neat way. It's been done before... but that's because it's cheap and it's neat. Check it out.
