ok, only just got a chance to mention this event from last weekend now.. and my photos taken there are really crap.
the main room had a line of 8 screens running along the wall and three behind the vj and dj area. it was nice to play with so many screens, and because the lighting was quite lowkey , it was really possible to affect the colour/ambience of the whole room, which made it lots of fun for me.
upstairs on the saturday afternoon, they opened it up to kids and families, so my alphabetti spaghetti came in useful. the dj played phat hiphop beats (glad the kids didnt understand all the english swearing). they loved chasing after the lighting guy's spots, which he moved all over the floor.
it was a really well organised event overall, we were all looked after in the artists area with lots of great food and drink from a team of cooks(i like nice food so i was happy)..

the NAME festival is in maureuge and dunkerque over the next couple of weeks, with more vjs and djs/acts... i hope i get invited back next year!
