I am new, but I already made several questions, and since you answer me, I will continue asking... ;-))

So there's this RHCP video which seems all done in video with feedback... I am sorry I don't know the name of the song... At least I think is more or less new (no more than six months old).

My question is, it seems all video feedback and filmed with a Tube video camera (not CCD), but it's a very CLEAN feedback... When I make feedbacks I get much dirtier look... How did they do it??? When you are a popstar everything is beautiful??? ;-)))

I am looking your profiles and webs, and I am being impressed by the second. I want to be like you all one day!!! ;-)))

Thanks!!!

I havent actually seen the video but its possible that theyve used a digital effect to simulate feedback, so it is cleaner.

"The Zephyr song" or something like that is the name of that RHCP clip.

Yeah, looks like those nice Tube Cameras feedback effects back in the 80s, but as Elbows is pointing out maybe surely a new digital one instead... or a mix of both :D

OK Ive seen the video now, you can watch it here:

Considering all the other effects used in the video, I think its a computer effect myself, but then I am biased because I dont know much about how thee things were done in the past.

Just guessing Id say theyve used compositing software like Adobe After Effects, just looking round the net quickly there are all sorts of different feedback-like effects available.

If you wanted to do similar things in realtime you could probably achieve similar results using something like visualjockey or other VJ software that has lots of effect plugins.
