View Full Version : Why the rush?

Lately, as an interesting phenomena, I has been watching an increasing ammount of people editing theirs own posts barely a few minutes after from theirs "apparently" hurried originals.

I was wondering the reason of this, I mean, Is it perhaps any kind of thoughts race/contest here or what?

I think nobody is gonna take away that thread from you, preventing you can express your opinion, so no need for rushed thoughts posting to change your mind just a few minutes later... Or is this whole new situation of Forum Hosts and a few Censorship episodes the true culprit of all this Paranoia?

Well, just a thought... as you know I?m a professional curious ;)

i often edit my posts after reading them - to correct spelling or other errors as i find it easer to spot errors once the text is posted up and on a slightly diffrent background colour

Some people like me type blind at mach 3 speed, and indeed it is easier to spot mistakes when you see the post you just put up.

Yeah I'm the same as Tom on this, I always read my posts back once they are posted and ALWAYS spot spelling and grammer errors

I always type too fast and have to edit approx half of all my posts after I send them, but I think if you edit quickly enough it doesnt show the edited by message, not sure so I'll test now by editing this post.
