Conceptually, if it's wireless you could do a mind-bending A/V silent disco where the punters each have a headset and you broadcast the sound and visuals.
You'd save a fortune on the venue's lighting and sound rig...

Nice, but it may cause some accidents with drunk people who forget they're not alone ;)
May be an interesting experience for some parties/performances, but I hope it will never be a new standard in clubs... too sad not to see the nice girl dancing just in front of you

Yeah, could have the same role for the VJ as headphones do for DJs. Would look pretty cool on stage too.
The problem with these things is always eyestrain and headaches from focusing on a nearby object.

Erm, if the price of those is in yen, then they cost 900 notes. (gbp)
Ouch. :sigh:
Although granted they would look

The price is in WON.. (South Korea) so the price will be around 150 euro and 90 GBP. Nice price!

Got to protect the V4

aye aye cap'n, instead of an eyepatch you be wantin' a video camera mounted on the front, and be havin' a virtual screen hanging wherever it be you be lookin'.
that be known as augmented reality.
aaarrr.
you be better off spending your pieces of gold on a couple of pairs of randolphs.

I own 3 pairs of videoglasses 1 Sony Glasstrom and 2 VideoGlasses (800x600), but trust me is not a great idea to VJing with them, you will have a headache soon about 20 mins of VJing... i?m my personal experience, don?t buy them.
I think it?s better to use a single video Glass, I don?t remember where I see one of those, but I think could be better, apart that the resolution in the most cases of videoglasses is not very good, you will need to force to much your eyes.

Now its funny you have suggested that because its "hear" already (http://www.theage.com.au/news/technology/come-on-feel-the-noise/2006/01/11/1136956230495.html)

I've been to a silent disco before, but thought it was a bit overrated because the headphones just weren't powerful enough.
But yeah, if you could do an AV silent disco, you wouldn't even need a lighting rig!

Do you not miss the feel of the bass with silent disco's?
I'd imagine you would miss the dynamic range of lighting too...
Maybe you could use sound activated (what are those electric exercise pads that giv you shocks to stimullate your muscles?) to give some physicality to the sound, maybe they'd work on your eyeballs too, twitch :crazyeyes

Yeah, there is no punch of the bass and the headphones wen't very powerful despite being rather heavy (to accomodate the wireless).
What would be cooler is if they gave you a belt pack to recieve the signal and you brought your own headphones to plug into it.
Hmm, getting a little off topic here...

I am agree, you will be forcing your eyes way too much. I remember the experience with the VR Helmet years ago, not to be used for mure than 8 minutes and I used for an hour playing Taken... ended up with an eye fatige for about 4 days, horrible, I couldn't drive or go to work, that is how bad it was.
