Okay - whew, we have had our work cut-out for sure. A few people have risen to the occasion of helping us out here - but our support network is no where near as large as it needs to be to pull this off. Right now I have been doing the bulk of all the work - and I don't mean to whine - but I'm starting to jones a bit as I haven't even touched my own video work in the past two weeks once. As you guys might understand the lack of personal accomplishment I am feeling at this moment in time - I am beginning to wonder how I'm even going to perform at AVIT if this keeps up. So this is my plea to you all - mainly those of you in Chicago and Milwaukee area we need your help to make avit happen - we need a support squad!
Some recent happenings:
Currently working on the sponsorship packages to get out there - once again if anyone has any ideas of companys or possible sponsors/contributors please let us know so that we can get them one of these beautiful packets. We are looking for any company to sponsor us by a money donation to cover costs and specific packages are available. Any-one who contributes will be rewarded with visibility in the events marketing efforts (more complete details will be posted as a PDF when it's done - which should be by next week)
We are looking for companys to donate equipment for use at the event - screens, projectors, anything that you can think we would make use of. Again they will be rewarded with visibility and connection to the event in all possible aspects.
Also available is booth space for purchase for demostrating products, hardware, software - again anything associated with VJ's and Audio - Visual performance.
Also - New revisions to the event are this:
Friday, June 6, 2003 - evening event will be artist reception and pre-party
Saturday, June 7, 2003 - 10a-5p Conference (times subject to changeand saturday's plans are still being worked out)
Saturday Night will be Artist Showcase/Clubnight - Details to be announced.
