I went to Brighton Pride last saturday and when not teasing gay men in my studded black leather dog collar and buff tanned body I popped in the the main dance tent for a bit of a boogie.
There were some absolutely terrible visuals (mainly a large rotating cube , possibly generated by pilgrim though I expect arkaos also includes such tat like it) but more interestingly they had a live signer filling half the screen, translating the song lyrics for the deaf in real-time. Could have been executed a little better, but I love the idea.

kwarlity idea. would be very cool in an a/v set. i have a few signing mates, i may get them to do me greenscreened clips to go with some of my favorite lyrics. will post when done..

on another note, Brighton alliance of sound sytems has an invite to do a float at pride, which they havent taken up. have been trying to get contacts to be able to organise, or a grant to pay for it. would be so cool to be pumping out dnb in the middle of brighton on a big float with "brighton is gay", "poofs are great" or "you're all well bent" or somethign similarly tongue in cheek written on top.... one day.

"you're all well bent" lmao

I once went to pride with a 'cover me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians' t-shirt...

about 4 people laughed... the rest wanted to kill me

you should of seen the woman signing for Jerry Springer - The Opera.
we asked her beforehand if she was ok with the script, she said she had most of it down, but still wasn't sure what she was going to do for 'inbred three nipple cousin fucker'
