Yep - I'll go along with that - Itten's "elements of colour" is my bible! As for general art books, good ones are as rare as rocking-horse shit. If, however, you want a cracking book for drawing, may I recommend Betty Edwards "Drawing on the right side of the brain". A unique approach to learning to draw, which is a really useful skill for sketching out ideas - be warned though, it is quite an unusual read!

Kino sp?ren is an awesome book by the austrian professor Christian Mikunda . If you are interessted in dramaturgical strategies of film making, you definitley should read it!!
