Eye Jam is three days of vivid visualsmash ups. The festival will take in AV performance, video art and vj's aplenty.

Friday night sees old skool crew Luxrama(ex duvet bros/gorilla tapes) perform a live art/dance video - scratching mix using remote camera feedsand Vj crafts honed over 15 years of Vplay. To follow Glasgows Pointless Creations will do their lounge thang using homegrown Vj interfaces (hard and soft).

The Party continues into the early hours Gripped in association with Camera2 will continue the DJ/VJ sessions at the Croft. expect more eye shattering visuals from Camera2 and special guest tbc to the sounds of Hip-Hop and Nu skool Breaks.

Saturday will be an all day forum with workshops/demos(Hippotizer, Resolume, Motion Dive), an AV presentation on the history of visuals by Michael Heap, a panel led discussion on the future of AV performance and matinee performances from VJ Anyone (Creamfields, Vectors) and bootleg bandits Eclectic Methods.

Saturday night will see a AV set from Matt Yeeking(Rephlex) and Vj Rodell. To finally fry your retinas, broken beat master Bedoiun Ascent(No immortal, RisingHigh,Anokha) and motion graphics gurus D:FUSE(Vjs 4 Leftfield, Sonar) will burn beauty into your eyes and ears.

At the Sunday 'Slipper Shuffle' Shmooz (Seen/ Big Chill)host a cosy evening of harmonious audio visual pleasures. Shmooz present some of there favourite film shorts and av pieces, an ambient av set and a live dj/vj set. Their guests amukidi( color therapist come av artist) and Alucidnation (Big Chill) treat us with his colorfullyanimated remedies. Playing live new Hombre/Ninja Tune signing Hint will mix mellowmusic with the colour crew.

hope no offence is taken at this post, none was intended. Best of luck with the event it looks like it should be great, hopefully we'll be around on the saturday afternoon to meet faces, and say hello.

If your attending any of these events in bristol and you fancy a break from the mold inside-us-all will be visualisationalising with psy trance legends Astrix [Homega - Israel] & others, at 'planet shroom' at the depot on the saturday night [8th].

Dunno where anybody got the idea that I'm a colour therapist!!! I think they meant theorist!
Anyway, it'd be great to meet any forum members there - I (amukidi)will, no doubt, be the oldest bloke there, so shouldn't be hard to spot (just look out for the tired looking geezer who spends too long arguing with his teenage daughters!)

Yo Mondo - will be cool to hook up chum! Things never go as planned! I'm just listening to a mini-disk Roger Eno sent this morning- its got a "must do" track on it, so there goes my plans again!!!! Gotta do another piece! Still, who needs sleep anyway?

congratulaions to the camera 2 vj crew for a well organised and friendly event.

bristol was great. get yer red pen out and mark that fine city on the vj map.

Thanks Guys for making the Eye Jam vj festival a great success. We will continue to push the vj scene as far as it will go in the Bristol \ South West.

respect to Mondo, Che-jon, Vj Anyone and Michael Heap. Hope the trip was a nice diversion from the capital city.
