What kind of section do you envision? Wouldn't there be a place for this on the Content Links or Video Releases section?

I think he wants something a little less "official". I thought video releases was commercial.... Maybe just a thread where everyone could throw up a current link? It happens sometimes with photos, but everyone HAS to post what format it's in, how big the filesize, and maybe how long the clip runs?

Video releases are more "official" but there is already some non-commercial stuff, since it's possible to put internet-only releases. Anyway I guess the format of video releases is a bit too complex for simply "showing off".

Hmmm... I can see a bit what could be done (something similar to the links sections but with more details relevant to video mixes) but I'm taking a break soon (more about this later) and I don't know if I'll have time to do this before. Maybe another developer has time/energy to do it?

This function is nearing completion on our community site. I'm not entirely sure how this will tie together with VJC at the moment, as I would need to partner with another PHP developer who is currently comfortable with the VJC code / integration.

Please contact me privately, or reply in this thread for additional commentary on this topic. I'm going away this weekend to try and break through a stumbing block (programming wise) that we had been having trouble implementing.

With luck, we'll have some updates on that soon (fingers crossed)

ps: our loop server hd has come out of the "HD shop" thanks to my friend Otto with a clean bill of health. So the current and the shortly debuting G4 hi-speed loop server will give you all a free (or low cost, depending how my finances go) place to put your mixes on. more news on this soon via the main AV site.
