somehow reminds me of a sleek+advanced version of the Trails#2 (http://www.antiexperience.com/edtang/works/trailz_submit.htm) installation that was displayed during Machinista 2004 (http://www.machinista.org.uk)

I saw the Kronos projector. It is very cool. The material is not so tight, so when you press and release the surface, it bounces around for a bit, making the time slices "wobble". Recent versions work with several layers of video (vs still frames), which is really cool.

This is very inspiring, I have been playing with some medical imaging software, OsiriX, its free, mac only.
But what to do with it...
