Hi VJ's!!
Does anyone or has anyone tried streaming video through VJ2.2.1 for live projection? If not can you advise on a suitable app to help us acheive this.

Also what Apps are about to acheive live streaming on the web? We're basically trying to broadcast a live event on the web!
Are there pitfalls!!?

to stream live video on the web (without loads of hassell) you need access to a streaming media server (realnetworks or quicktime)you also need a dedicated computer with video capture to do the encoding - this computer will be running realproducer (for a real server) or sorrenson broadcaster (for quicktime) - you plug the video and audio in and type in the server details and push go and it encodes the video and audio on the fly and sends it to the server - people who want to watch the stream connect to the server and it sends them the stream.
