Adding an event to the calender

Can anybody explain why I don't seem to have authorisation to add events to the vjcentral calender?

hello guys,

Could somebody please help me promote my vj event here? I'm trying to post an event to the calender, but it results in the following message:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

the callendar is not turned on for normal users to post events to. maybe it should be? i dunno...

It used to be open for everyone to promote events. I know cos i did it before. :)

Oh well, whom should i post a request to be added to the calendar then?

I suppose this was 'in the beginning' of the new layout of vjcentral. I was one of the first to try out the calendar. I really like this feature.

Just found out that there is a vjCentral calendar and a vjForums calender. Were we talking about the same thing? Doesn't really matter, since i was able to post my event yesterday, but still... :)

don't know about the VJC calendar - its probably broken like the rest of VJC...

which one did you mean?
