FEE STRUCTURE
Fees are according to the size of the gig and the amount of graphics/video
pre and post production.
(S) <AMOUNT> for a small gig
(M) <AMOUNT> standard club night including custom graphics for DJ names and 2
sponsor logos as a maximum any further graphics will be charged at day rate.
(L) <AMOUNT> corporate and custom gigs with a reasonable amount of custom
graphics made by us for the event.
(XL) <AMOUNT> large corporate events and or music festivals with a
reasonable amount of custom graphics made by us for the event.
(reasonable is judged at 2 days pre, post production and approval time if
necessary )
Graphics, video post production including creation, ideas and delivery is calculated at <AMOUNT> a day.
All prices are excluding (if necessary) transport, accommodation costs and
food and beverages on the day/evening.
All prices are exclusive VAT/GST/BTW or the applicable tax.
We allow the right to deviate from these amounts as we see fit in our judgement.
This includes charity work, things that we may think are fun to do and
anything else.
We reserve to right to judge any event on it's own merit and adjust our fees
accordingly.
All video content produced for an event will remain property and copyright of the relevant members in <VJ NAME> unless previously agreed that it will become property of the client.
Please contact us for more information and a show-reel.
For previous client information and performances of the members of the <VJ NAME> contact us.
Further information:
We will provide a relevant VJ set-up to work with for small events we will take this set-up to larger events as well and this is included in the above prices.
Our minimum provided set-up includes 2 laptops with VJ software and an Edirol v4 Video mixer.
(we reserve the right to bring more video and camera equipment as we see fit.)
We will need a table or other surface for the equipment at approx. 3 x 1.40 x 1.20 meter (Width x Depth x Height )this so we can operate the video-mixer standing up.
We need to be placed where can see most of the video-screens directly, and have an overview off the crowd.
There needs to be enough room around the VJ area for 2VJ's to
operate
the set and move comfortably.
There needs to be enough light to be able to read.
Not included are the costs of further infrastructure and equipment.
Projectors and/or plasma screens/ LED screens and further
inputs,and
sources not provided by us need to be provided by the organiser of
the event:
This can include but not limited to video projectors, computer
equipment, dvd players, camera equipment etc.
Instruction on use of equipment unknown to us so be provided by
the
organiser of the event 2 hours before the start of the event.
We do have some guidelines for projection and/or output screens:
It is up to the organiser of the event of the event to come up
with
an adequate solution.
Depending on the size of the event location we can only say that
these are guidelines.
Plasma/LED screens guideline:
We recommend 16 or more 42 inch (diagonal size) in groups of 4
either
incorporated into the scenery of the location or as it's own set.
Projection guideline:
We recommend to have 1 to 6 video projectors with a minimum of
1800
and preferably 1 or more 3000 ANSI video projectors.
Some guidelines for large scale events:
For large events and multiple camera switching we prefer:
MX 70 (main mixer) + program/pre-set monitor mixer set-up for P-P
V4 (sub mixer) + program/preview monitor
2x DVD players (2 preview monitors)
(Further sources as specified all with separate preview monitor)
Camera(s) (preview monitor for each camera)
Live feeds (preview monitor each feed)
Matrices as set-up by the technical staff provided by the
organiser
of the event.
Sample set-up.
All requested sources must be available on the matrices.
MX70 inputs:
main rail MX70 DVD players, v4 +matrix
shift rail MX70 further cameras + matrix
V4 inputs:
We will provide our own VJ equipment to attach to the provided V4
In case of our guidelines we like to be informed about the scale
and
choice of equipment 3 days before the event and have a technical
contact 5 days prior to the event.
The projectors and other video equipment must be installed and
running 2 hours before the show. There should be one person of the
technical staff available 2 hours before the beginning of the show
to
help us with explanation and technical advice.
When mentioned for promotional purposes we can only be referred to as:
<VJ NAME>
The organising party should supply the crew of <VJ NAME>
with enough consumptions and food if available for the course of the event.
We understand that there might be valid reasons or circumstances
why
one of the terms here can not be met. In that case we like to be
notified 3 days before the event.
If the requirements of this document are clearly not met without
prior notification, <VJ NAME> has the right to cancel the
show
and the organiser of the event will be charged 50% of the
previously
agreed upon fee.

Always good news for the community. :)
Lets hope you can other nights/venues trying to get paid guest VJs haven't really panned out. Stealth in nottingham was there plan when mossy (signal55 ? ) was resident VJ who setup a whole vis setup there. Prorities changed and budgets got cut and interest was lost. :(
