this is not update, suggestion or bug report, but it seems like a right place to ask.. i was wondering what does a number of thread views actually mean (next to the number of replies on a VJC index page)?
If the number is 2, did 2 different members viewed it or 1 member viewed it twice (something like a difference between Hits and Visits on stats pages)? or both?

i.

p.s. (few minutes after):
i did try to test it - it's impossible to know (because i viewed this thread 2 times for test and it said "5views". and i can't know how many times someone else viewed it in 10 seconds..)

it is the number of the time a thread has been loaded. so this is why threads with lots of replies can get several thousands of views even though there isn't that much of members. :)

the views displayed on some VJC content (software reviews, hardware reviews, video releases and a few other sections i think) work the same way.

yup, it would be pretty impressive if views come from different users (~800 in case of copyright thread)...
but not impossible (there are still guests that aren't logged)...
that's why i asked afterall..
