Hello all,
as my nickname tell, Im vj pillow from Montreal. For those who would be interested to mix in Montreal, there 2 very interesting venus where you can play, the Society of Art and Technology (SAT) and the Aria after hour club.

Im artist in residency at SAT and Im working on a project to promote and develop the VJ scene in Montreal. Im also in charge of the VJ line up of the Aria night club. There Vjs playing every friday and saturday at Aria and everytime there a night event at SAT. If you are planning to go to Montreal and you are interested to play in those places, youcan send me some informations on you and a website where I can see a piece of your work. If you are interested to meet others Vjs from Montreal, we have a Vj meeting at SAT about 2 times per months.

For any questions, dont hesitate to ask.

(sorry for my clumsy english, we speak french in Montreal, but most of us can speak english but not always fluently like me)

For those who are interested to play in Montreal. Please cc your email to Ian Cameron (eonprods@hotmail.com). He is now in charge of the Aria vj line up while I will be in Vietnam for 2 months. I dont think I can check my email everyday over there.

Projectors and cables are already set at Aria. So its a plug'n play set up.
I would like to remind europeen Vjs that its NTSC and 110volt in America. To be able to play PAL, you need to bring your own mixer and electric converter.

PS: Saint-Sauveur is not Montreal :P
Its a more like a touristic area.

Bonjour Pillow:

Salut,
Marcus Leja <Portal>

Love Montreal! Lived there for three years, and been back a few times to visit friends at Concordia. The SAT's a great venue for exhibitions, cinetik is great, epsilonlab is great, Aria is great (got to catch some dizzying visuals there at a Picotto set) That four-screen setup downstairs has got my envy.

I see that you're back on the schedule up there soon. I'll be sure to check it out again, but more closely.

I have no idea why this the forum is saying I'm in Italy. I'm actually in Rhode Island, about six hours away.
