several people have been asking me how to setup an avatar (the small 50x50 image which appears next to posts) so i thought i'd explain it here. first of all the image on the VJC profile is *not* the avatar on VJF so it's normal if the image on your VJC profile doesn't appear in your VJF posts.
to setup your avatar, click on "control panel" at the top of the page, go to "edit option" (small top menu) then at the bottom of the page click on the "change avatar" button. or alternatively you can go directly to this URL:

hello and good day,
just a little detail question I couldn't find any answers on in the faq's on avatars.
I keep uploading a 50x50 photoshop jpeg file with the browse button on the profile editor page, but I always get a 'missing' icon?
do you have to put a url in the browse location?
is it the size? (I know it's max50pix)
or is it the format?
it's just some trivia, but hey if there's a thread about it?

hey, that's my avatar (skillfully taylor made) but I didn't thought it was possible to 'make' or put a real missing image in the control panel (d@#%$m). Tho the netscape-viewers (and other browsers) will see the difference.
I'm aware that as soon as you're able to post your avatar properly, my post (this post) looks rather stupid
