Im looking into arkaos, vdmx2, and fuse...
arkaos looks very user friendly, but also seems less advanced than the others... not sure if u can scrub with arkaos... any recomendations that people have who have used all of these programs would be very much apprecated.

I have used Arkaos, and would say that if you like to have midi control over the FX's in Arkaos, (they do need to update their FX's) then Arkaos is a good bet...(the only problem being is that you have to manually enter the midi control #'s yourself, ie. no midi learn function)
I also use VIDVOX Prophet for my Mac, (from the makers of VDMX)
also via a midi controller's setup for A/V sampling and it is worthwhile to checkout as well (it also has Firewire in and out capabilities)...:) ;) :)

Get Motion Dive 3, it is about impossible to get it for free in the net so I recomend you to buy it ($200) with your eye wide closed.

I made my first gig with it last weekend and was my right harm. I can do the entire show with it basically.

I have Fuse, but is slow and skips frames a lot (I own a Pismo). Motion Dive is the one, for get about others if you really want to start doing lots of stuff right away.

motion dive is it for me!!! and yeah its easyer to buy than to find.. it took me atleast 2 weeks..
finding version 2 full (it has a 500 mb movie files lib.and works only on older os 9 versions.. ) so i had to search again now for version 3... they were smart. they included the compleat movie lib in the installer not like with version 2 that had them seperated and this is findable..so there are no small illegal programs of version 3 till someone seperates the installer.. i found 1 full image of 550 mb at a japan hl site together with M7 !!!!! try to find that (another freaky japan program..it combines 3 streams of movie layers and those layers can contain 7 movies each.. and plays them with multiple effects)
i'm e-mailing with 1 of the devolpers.. wel.. he responded 1 time..so not sure if its a real contact.. will try to keep yall posted about japan translations..
any way... for mac i should say MOTION DIVE RULLES... do.. VDMX is a for my needs top working program to..;)
