fuck me that must have cost a fortune to put together! my led screens are about a 10th of the size, and only single colour, for now anyway.
do you know who built it? or even some close up shots? i'm just curious...

Fuck's sake, the impact done with the booth being there "floating" and the huge fuck-off screen surrounding it completely is astounding.

For this set he only used a few 3d clips...
the glasses had small smiley faces imprinted onto them, so they really kicked in with the led lights outside and above the led wall..
I've got loads more shots, but my agreement with the record company only allows me to use 1 min's worth as promo, but i'm currently editing a 15 min doc from the 2 nights so when i know what's happening and if i can make it available on my website i'll let you know..

yup i kind of thought that at the start, but it was perfect for the situation and audience...
The more i saw of it, the more i liked it, worked perfectly in context of the academy..
rova, i'm happy to show you more when your next at mine, the clip only has a few seconds from a 2.5hr set..

Seen the show at Electric Picnic in Ireland last year. The screen setup wasnt as intense, but he had a wall of LED screens behind him, and a row in front of the DJ box. As was said, some of the content was a bit basic, but its a party vibe. Big, bright and in your face, not trying to be anything serious. Thousands of people running around the next day of festival with the glasses on.

Watching this piece of footage I ask myself the question.... am I trying to be too complex in my sets?
