I'm not sure, but if someone has an easy answer to this, I've got $10 for a paypal account, go buy yourself a six pack of good beer... =]

My projector was dropped a few months back. Had it looked at, they say it's fine except the bulb. Replaced the bulb, seems to be all good. Now it's showing bright blue (you know the color) wherever it's supposed to be black. That's not good, any idea what's wrong???

checking the bulb is a good place to start , how ever an good habit to keep is to make sure your projector can breath . clubs are dirty and dusty if i have any problems the first thing i do is check the air filters , and wash them out , chances are that will be it . poping the lid and cleaning the inside with a compressed air can will not only allow the fans to work more freely but clean off the wires and rule out any shorts because of dust . it may sound simple but it could save a ton of cash it that's all it is .

hhaha, well one the "house" projectors at the venue on nye had a problem. had to be shut down.

to begin with they're crappy 3m jobbys. at the begining of the night there was a brown area in the image. at around 11:30 i look up and there was a huge empty space (burned hole) in the image. and it was expanding. i'm assuming it was either the bulb or the lcd panel. so we shut it off.

if there was an article for us to refer for all know symptoms. it'd be nice.
