I couldn't see how to attach a document either (maybe you can't attach docs to articles...)

Anyway, I added a link as the end of the article that points to the text contract that you posted with your VJForums post.

BTW - good contract. Would you mind if we used it as a starting point for drawing up a contract?

thats the whole point tom, th contract was based on sample one some1 posted on eyecandy a few years back, and clauses have been added in the meanwhile as things have come up in the community, ie the LTJ bukem ate my camera thread on eyecandy resulted in the cameras clause making it the promoters resposiblity to inform the artist we;d have cameras there etc.

it would be good if it could find a proper home on vjc somewher where ppl can make use of it and it can be updated as neccesary

Well, if we can upload the file to somewhere permanent on the VJCentral server then we could link to that instead of the one on the forums post.

Thanks to everyone who has been involved in putting this contract together. We have been talking about putting a proper contract together for our work and this looks ideal.
