Just came back for a while, busy days here up until february or so. Glad to see vB v3 implemented! However...

Having the nicknames and all that data ABOVE each post makes me read it every time. It corrupts the reading flow of the conversations. Please change to a standard style, where that information resides in the left side of the screen and one can avoid reading it.

the old style was crap it made the text area too narrow.

get over it - or make use of one of the alternate styles provided in the dropdown at the bottom somewhere.

This feature works independantly of styles. Normally with vbulletin it can only be changed for all users, not individually.

But clearly its something that is a strong personal preference, so I have modified the forum using a plugin, so this stuff can now be changed via your user profile.

Go to user control panel
Edit profile
At bottom of page change 'user info position within posts' to 'Vertical Postbit (Legacy)'.

I may change the wording of this option to make it more obvious in the future, or have it selectable from an easier place. Let me know if it provides what you need.

No, it doesn't change it. Yuo might as well try to check'em out.
