I am the only one the search function doesn't work for? Nothing I type in gets any results.

i guess not, u aren't the only one
but than u have to wait for those 1 or 2 forum members who volenteer to
re-construct the forums
i can assure u that they will get to it, at some point in time
i wish i could, but yet -
anyone with the right know-how can consider offering their help

I have tried to fix this but to no avail.
For reference to others. Rebuild in the serach indexes within Vbulletin control panel didn't fix the problem like I would have hoped.
There are no doubt many things that are no correct but really the timing is bad as at this time of year we all have other things on our minds. Give a week or so into the new year.

Problem identified & sorted, the search index is just being rebuilt right now, so the search should be working again within the coming hour or so.

The search index is taking many hours to rebuild, so Im doing it a bit at a time, maybe it will be finished by tonight. Right now you should get plenty of search results but only from the posts that have been re-indexed so far.

Search reindexing is now complete, it should work properly :)
The previously recently added google search facility needs to be re-added to the new forum.

Magnificent work, Elbows.
Cheers for your efforts, Rovastar.
May the mistletoe grow abundantly above the heads of those you seek smooches from.

did you intentionaly allow 2-character searching? cuz now "V4" works and turns up 500 threads...

The limit is still 3 letters but there is an exception list so I added v4 and a couple of others to it. :)
