Just a quick note: A bare-bones SDK for 3.2 is now available from the VJo site, I've managed to get the samples working after doing a bit of hacking around, check the VJo message board for more details.

Just a little note on the resizeable preview thing.

It would be nice to have configureable effects while they're running, BUT I have to say that I've actually gotten to the point where I prefer having a fullscreen display running really fast and my effects pre-initiated. The result is that they don't choke when I change through them. Viewers don't see me fussing around with loading clips (even if it just means a screen pause) or doing other "on the fly" mucking about.

So, while it would be "easy" to add this feature... it would take a big performance hit out of the program.

Of course, just making it an option that you could turn on and off would shut a lot of people up.

I would use the resizable preview too, I don't feel comfortable not seeing anything. Like you said, it's a preference so it would not make sense not to include it because the current vJo users prefer the full screen mode. Ever thought that maybe if all current vJo users prefer the full screen mode, it's maybe because those who don't like this mode don't use vJo? :)

Hit the nail on the head X........ give that man a prizehttp://www.casanovaentertainment.com/images/gameshow1.jpg

Horses for courses KF, either resize if you want to or don't bother, its not like anyone is going to force you and I'm sure they won't take away your beloved fullscreen mode mate :) but let us scan conv/interface ppl have a go too......

How to see it soon VJo peeps :)

The resizable preview window is in the development plan now, it's just a matter of time before this feature is included in an upcoming release. We are listening to our users and if they don't mind trading some performance for easier access to the interface then they will have it ;)
