Comments on Tree Structure

I have added the tree structure for the comments :) I think it will make the discussion there much better and it will avoid the page to be too long if there is too many comments. It's already working everywhere but have a look at the page below:

Since I'm a nerd and have nothing else to do ;) I'll take some time to move the comments, so that we can see who was replying to who. I in the meanwhile.

I have a train to catch in 37 minutes so I hope everything works well. I plan to add quite a few new features now there is the new system for the comments, like the possiblity to receive an email everytime someone answers to one of your comment, a special highlight for the new comments (the NEW in red, like for all the other stuff), etc, etc.

X I just notice a little prob with the tree structure.... there is no label @ the top of the page when you click a comment, as in label as to what article/review it is related too, which can get VERY confusing when you click on the latest comments (thanks for listening and including that:) ) section and you jump to read a comment and can't actually see what topic/article/review the comment is about.

Might also be wise to remove the rating section from the comment pages as I don't think its relevant to rate the comments.....

I added a better navigation on the comments. You can now see the original topic as well as the next/previous comments, which is easy if you want to quickly browse through all comments on a particular topic.

I also removed the rating on comments, it was a mistake.

On a related note, the code I write becomes increasingly complex Hopefully this won't slow down too much my server or I'll have to start thinking about optimization :rolleyes:

I've just added the possibility to be notified by email when someone reply to your comment. It's turned on by default but I'll soon add an option on the VJC profile to turn it off by default, for those who don't like to receive emails and who are too lazy to uncheck an option everytime they post a comment :) This should be useful!

... and the comments posted since your last visit are now marked as NEW. Duh, it only took me 2 minutes to implement this, guess my code is really good :)

Just saw X... top marks mate... your really whipping this code into shape mate... expect a commandpost and swf mixer review in the next 24hours... followed by a full article on working with Meimi and maybe on on SVi after that :)
