Where are you at? I spent 4 months in Cap Haitien living at the Christophe a few years back. Got some AMAZING pix at the Ogou pilgrimage at Plaine du Nord, sure wish I had some video from it to mix with now. 5000 people beating drums, waving chickens, throwing candles, drinking Clarine and getting ridden by the Loa.

Haiti was wierd, wonderful, whacked out and changed my life.

I'll drink some Barbancourt and think about you down there

I was working on an archaeological dig in the back country about 20 miles east of Cap Haitien. It was during Baby Doc, so it's been a while. Wierd times, had two Tonton Macoute and a houngan on the crew who kept me on my toes.

I met some crazy hot artists while I was there, went to some amazing parties. I didn't get to see much of the south except for the barren hills around Port-au-Prince. Loved the people, feared the government, blew my mind.
