Download?

I just tried to download the latest version of meimi off of both the audiovisualers and seera.jp site. The file was only about 2mb and when i unzipped it, it sayed that there was some screen saver components in it. So i extracted them but it didnt seem to have the actual program withon the zipped file? Whats up with that? thank you in advance

Yeah there is a screensaver file in it..... but thats not what you want (I still haven't gotten that to work). You want the .exe file..... what OS are you using, i haven't used it but I'm guessing XP if its giving you such "helpful" hints on your downloads :p

just extract the entire zip into a directory, go through the nested folders and find the meimi.exe file (same folder as .scr file) and double click.

Oh and BTW turn file extensions on and unhide system files...... thats just a general thing.

I am using windows 98. Winzip wouldnt even let me choose a directory to unzip it to. Basically it extrated the screensaver and then shut down. If it did unzip the program to a folder i have yet to find it. I think the download may be corrupted. So i downloaded it again. Same thing :(

dowload the file to your HDD, right click on the file and select extract to. then browse to the folder with meimi.exe or try doing a search for the file from the start menu.

i just downloaded meimi trough the links and they both work...
(i'm using winace)

DON'T select any files in the zip when extracting, just press extract and it should unzip ALL the files...

Thank you. It worked when i simply used the extract option instead. Now it is time to play with the program and have some fun. Is there any site with english instructions? Thanks:nod:

Just run the japanese instructins through babelfish....

muck about with the interface its pretty easy, press a few keys and you'll figure most of the short cuts.
